"Bakemonogatari” (translated “Ghost Story”) was written by Nisio Isin, illustrated by Taiwanese artist VOFAN, and the series consists of 5 different stories.

One day, high school junior Araragi Koyomi learns the secret of his classmate, Senjougahara Hitagi, whom he's never spoken to. Senjougahara has almost no weight. To keep her secret, Senjougahara threatens Araragi continuously. Araragi proposes they cooperate to solve the problem. Senjougahara claims to have lost her weight two years ago after encountering an unbelievable crab. Araragi has faced bizarre situations before, relying on Meme Oshino's help. And there are more monsters lurking in the city.

《化物语》是由日本小说家西尾维新原作，由台湾插画家VOFAN负责插画的轻小说《物语系列》的第一弹作品，该系列由五个故事组成。

高中三年级学生阿良良木曆某天在学校意外得知同班两年从未对话的同学战场原黑仪的秘密。即她身上几乎没有体重。为了不让自己的秘密暴露，战场原不断威胁阿良良木。曆提议黑仪合作解决问题。根据黑仪的说法，两年前她遭遇一只不可思议的螃蟹后，全部的体重就被拿走了。事实上，曆也曾经遭遇怪异，当时是借由忍野咩咩这位男性的力量来化解危机。而在这个城市内，尚有更多怪物出没。

Koyomi Araragi appears aloof with few friends but is actually kind to everyone. During spring break, he was attacked by a vampire (Shinobu Oshino) and briefly became one himself, retaining some vampire traits and extraordinary recovery and healing abilities.

朋友很少，常給人以孤高的感覺，但實際上是個對誰都很溫柔的濫好人。春假時曾遭遇吸血鬼（忍野忍）的襲擊，自己也一度變成吸血鬼，體內殘留些許的吸血鬼特性和技能，擁有超出常人的恢復和治癒能力。

Hitagi Senjougahara is a girl who lost weight after encountering a crab. She appears as a frail and sickly, quiet honor student, often perceived as a sheltered rich girl. However, she is actually a formidable and sharp-tongued individual. She is the girlfriend of the male protagonist, Araragi Koyomi.

戰場原黑儀，一位因遭遇到了螃蟹而失去體重的少女。她外表看起來是個體弱多病的文靜優等生，被視為深閨大小姐；但實際上卻是個可怕的毒舌專家。她是男主角阿良良木歷的女朋友。

A girl enchanted by cats, she grew up in a cold family environment. She is the class president of Araragi Koyomi, possessing keen insight and capable of making correct judgments in any situation. She is also regarded as a very tricky presence by Meme Oshino.

Mayoi Hachikuji (CV: Emiri Katou)

Mayoi Hachikuji, a lost girl akin to a snail, possesses a petite frame and a clever, charming visage, her emotions vividly expressed. Despite outwardly appearing as a polite and modest 10-year-old elementary school student, she is in fact a ghost girl who has wandered lost for 11 years.

八九寺真宵，如同一只迷失的蜗牛，拥有娇小的身躯和聪颖俊俏的面容，表情丰富，喜怒哀乐无法隐藏。她外表虽然看起来像个彬彬有礼、谦逊有加的10岁小学生，实际上却是在迷失中徘徊了11年的幽灵少女。

Kanbaru Suruga, a girl who made a wish to the "Devil's Hand", her left arm attached to the "Devil's Hand" and wrapped in bandages. She is the leader of the basketball club and a shining star at school.

神原駿河，向猿猴之手祈願的少女，左臂被“惡魔之手”依附，須纏繞繃帶。她是籃球社的領袖，學校的耀眼之星。

Nadeko Sengoku (CV: Kana Hanazawa)

The girl entwined by snakes is introverted, quiet, and extremely shy. She is timid and easily embarrassed, often avoiding direct eye contact with others, always wearing a cap with a brim.

被蛇纏繞的少女性格內向，文靜乖巧，非常怕生，極容易害羞。她不習慣與人直接目光相接，總是戴着一頂帶有帽檐的帽子。

忍野忍 (CV: 坂本真綾)
Shinobu Oshino (CV: Maaya Sakamoto)

Shinobu Oshino, commonly known as "Shinobu," real name Kissshot Acerolaorion Heartunder Blade, appears to be only eight years old, with fair skin and golden irises. She suffers the plight of a vampire's downfall, the remnants of a once beautiful vampire, devoid of shadow and form, even stripped of her original name.

忍野忍，通稱“忍”，本名“姬絲秀忒·雅賽勞拉莉昂·刃下心”，外表看上去只有八歲，是一名金髮少女，肌膚白皙，瞳孔呈金色。她承受着吸血鬼落魄的命运，只剩下美麗吸血鬼的殘餘，既無影子亦無形體，甚至連原本的名字都被剝奪了。

Oshino Meme is a wandering oddball expert with a frivolous personality, dedicated to balancing the human and bizarre worlds despite his ineptitude at eliminating the bizarre. Araragi Koyomi believes he has the ability to see through everything.

忍野咩咩是一位流浪生活的怪異專家，性格輕浮至極，那種不太討人喜歡的類型。他致力於維持人類世界和怪異世界的平衡，儘管不擅長消滅怪異。阿良良木歷認為他擁有能夠看穿一切的能力。
